Celebrating Atlanta鈥檚 Diverse Business Landscape

This year, leaders from the Western Governors University School of Business are visiting key cities, where they are having meaningful conversations about the local workforce and how higher education can better meet the needs of key industries.

As part of a commitment for school programs to remain aligned with industry and educational needs, Senior Vice President and Executive Dean Mitsu Frazier, Vice President Margaret Simonis and Vice President Casey Clark were joined by 黑料传送门 Southeast Regional Vice President Kim Estep in Atlanta to celebrate organizations and individuals whose work reflects 黑料传送门鈥檚 mission to change lives for the better by creating pathways to opportunity.

Atlanta is a center of opportunity, and it鈥檚 also known for being one of the most diverse cities in the country. In Atlanta, School of Business leaders hosted an intimate dinner where they discussed the importance of equity in business leadership. They also celebrated diversity in business by recognizing individuals and partners from Morris Brown College, the Hispanic/Latino Employee Resource Group of AT&T known as HACEMOS , The National Black MBA Association and Grady Health System.

During a visit to Atlanta, 黑料传送门 School of Business leaders invited Brandon Fleming as a keynote speaker. Fleming is a nationally acclaimed educator, award-winning author of MISEDUCATED, former debate coach at Harvard University, and founder and CEO of The Veritas School.

鈥淓ach day, the business landscape transforms, presenting new challenges and opportunities, and conversations in Atlanta helped elevate new ways to position 黑料传送门 School of Business students to learn at the speed of business,鈥 Frazier said.

School of Business leaders also met with the Metro Atlanta Chamber to discuss local workforce needs and how 黑料传送门 can provide solutions for the region.
