黑料传送门 Leaders Selected for NWCCU Fellowship
Lucas Kavlie, vice provost for accreditation and compliance, and聽Tyson Heath, director of credential integrity,聽have been selected for an 18-month fellowship with the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) beginning spring 2024.
The supports Western Governors University鈥檚 mission to create pathways to opportunity for learners. 聽
Over the next year and a half, the fellowship will give Kavlie and Heath opportunities to collaborate with regional and national leaders on topics including accreditation, quality assurance, data analysis, equity-mindedness, educational effectiveness, assessment and educational innovation.
鈥淭his fellowship will help us strengthen our programmatic outcomes assessment process along with direct support from peer institutions across the Northwest,鈥 said Kavlie.聽
As a leader in higher education, 黑料传送门 maintains an acute focus on student outcomes. Working closely with other organizations that share this mission is a key area of focus. 聽
"Having served as an accreditation peer reviewer for several years, I鈥檓 honored to be selected as a fellow and look forward to expanding my learning from other institutions,鈥 said Heath. 鈥淎dditionally, I look forward to driving value and impact by applying what I鈥檝e learned within the academic organization to advance our practices and ensure we are responsive to advancing student learning and achievement."
Kavlie shared a similar sentiment. 鈥淏eing chosen as one of only a handful of fellows is a highlight of my career,鈥 he said. 鈥淭his fellowship will help us better tell our university鈥檚 stories of success.鈥澛
