黑料传送门 will hold a Virtual Commencement on Saturday, March 4, 2023, to celebrate our graduates. Virtual commencements allow graduates to participate live or the option to celebrate at their convenience with friends and family at their own commencement watch party.

Graduate Video Clip Submission

RSVP Deadline: Friday, January 20
*Graduates must have an RSVP on file in order to submit a video

** Graduates will be emailed video upload instructions within one week of their RSVP date.

Video Submission Deadline: Friday, February 3
Graduates who do not submit a video will be recognized in a list after the video presentations.

RSVP Information

To RSVP, you must have either your Graduation Application submitted to the Student Records department or be enrolled in and only have your final course remaining, such as capstone, final certification, or student teaching.听If you don鈥檛 currently meet this requirement, wait to RSVP until the requirement is met.

Students who are enrolled in their final course may submit an email to听commencement@wgu.edu听with 鈥淔inal Course鈥 in subject line along with desired commencement ceremony.

Kevin Carroll
Author and Change Agent

Kevin Carroll is the founder of Kevin Carroll Katalyst/LLC and the author of three highly successful books: Rules of the Red Rubber Ball, What's Your Red Rubber Ball?!, The Red Rubber Ball at Work and A Kids Book About BELONGING. As an author, speaker, and agent for social change, it is Carroll's "job" to inspire businesses, organizations, and individuals鈥攆rom CEOs and employees of Fortune 500 companies to schoolchildren to maximize their human potential.

With his consulting endeavors, Kevin has helped turn creative ideas into reality for organizations such as the Starbucks, Nike, Walt Disney Company, NHL, NBA, ESPN, Procter & Gamble, Capital One, and many others.

Raised by his grandparents in Philadelphia, Carroll spent endless hours at the neighborhood playground where he found his calling: a red rubber ball. His subsequent pursuit of play and his "red rubber ball" took him overseas with the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a language interpreter and translator, gaining fluency in Croatian, Czech, Serbian, and German.

After serving in the Air Force for ten years and earning his college degree, Carroll became an athletic trainer at the high school and collegiate levels in Philadelphia.

His expertise in sport performance recognized by the 76ers organization and led to his job as the head athletic trainer for the Philadelphia 76ers in 1995. While at the 76ers, Nike tapped Carroll to bring his unique experiences to the sneaker听giant in 1997. Although no job "officially" existed at the time, Carroll was directed to create a position at the company that would add value to the overall mission of the brand.

Carroll has dedicated his life to advancing sports and play as a vehicle for social change and success. He partners with non-governmental organizations and businesses around and was honored to address the United Nations as part of the UN Year of Sports for Development and Peace in 2005. In 2013, Kevin was named by SUCCESS magazine as one of 19 鈥淪EERS 鈥 changing the world!鈥

Carroll holds a M.S. degree in Health Education from St. Joseph's University, a B.A. in Speech Communication with a minor in Physical Education from Angelo State University and an Associates Degree in Interpreting and Translating from the Community College of the Air Force.

Bianca Cooper

Bianca Cooper has a deep passion for the healthcare industry and currently serves as the Senior Director of Onboarding & Recruiting at NurseDash.

She is renowned for revamping departments, breaking company records, and creating a culture of inclusiveness.听

Bianca also wrote a children鈥檚 book that made Yahoo! News as one of the best children鈥檚 books in 2021.

She earned her master鈥檚 in management and leadership from 黑料传送门 in 2023 with plans to pursue her Doctorate of Education from Louisiana State University.

Lyndie Eubanks

Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee,听Lyndie Eubanks grew up with three听older brothers, an older sister, and a younger sister, where she learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and determination.

Like many 黑料传送门 students, Lyndie experienced the ups and downs of life during听her educational journey and would need to draw on those early experiences.听While pursuing her bachelor鈥檚 degree from The University of Memphis, her husband passed away, leaving her as the sole provider for their son. Balancing work, family, with her studies, Lyndie persevered and completed her degree. Years later she would earn her MBA from 黑料传送门, which she credits helped strengthen her career in an ever-changing work landscape.

Lyndie is a Change Management Consultant with International Paper where she has spent the past decade leading projects within business and HR sectors. She is active on various boards and remains busy inspiring and lifting others. 听

Of all of her accomplishments, she remains most proud of instilling the value of hard work and education to her son, who is completing a bachelor鈥檚 degree in commercial aviation while he serves in the Tennessee Army National Guard.

Lyndie enjoys reading, teaching herself piano, completing various crafts, volunteering for her church, spending time with her friends and family, and going to the beach. She resides in Collierville, Tennessee,听with her husband Jeff, and her son, Connor, and their 4 year-old boxer, Dexter.

Virtual Commencement FAQs

The virtual commencement features a keynote address, graduate speeches, and a graduate鈥檚 moment in the spotlight (conferral of degrees). Graduates are invited to participate live or on their own time.听

Graduates who participated in a virtual commencement due to COVID-19 in 2020 or 2021 are welcome to join us for an in-person commencement in the future. As of January 2022, graduates may participate in one commencement ceremony (in-person or virtual) per degree program completed.

Graduates who register and submit a video clip for virtual commencement will have their name announced while their name and degree is displayed on screen.

Graduates who do not submit a video will have their names听 read in alphabetical order by college without a video.

When you RSVP for virtual commencement, please note this in the comments section, or email commencement@wgu.edu with this request before the RSVP deadline.

No. After the livestream, the commencement will be organized by segments (e.g. welcome and opening remarks, anthem singer, graduate speeches, keynote speaker, reading of graduate names), allowing graduates to select which content they view.

Virtual Commencement Communication FAQs

Communications are sent to the email address provided on the virtual commencement RSVP form. Graduates who register for virtual commencement will receive the following email communications: video clip instructions, deadline reminders, final details with instructions on how to view the virtual commencement, and a survey after commencement. If you have not received an email from us, contact commencement@wgu.edu.

Please check your 黑料传送门 student email address for a copy of your confirmation email. If you have not received a confirmation email, please contact us at commencement@wgu.edu.

Virtual Commencement Video FAQs

Graduates who RSVP for virtual commencement will receive instructions beginning eight weeks before Virtual Commencement until the video deadline, four weeks before Virtual Commencement. If you have not received your video clip instructions, please contact commencement@wgu.edu

Yes, as long your new video clip is submitted by the submissions deadline.听

Due to production schedules, late videos will not be accepted for virtual commencement.

Regalia FAQs

黑料传送门 graduate regalia can be ordered from .听 Please click on the 鈥淰irtual Ceremony鈥 tab to place your order.听

We encourage you to wear a cap and gown, but this is not required to participate in virtual commencement. If you choose not to wear regalia or do not have regalia, business professional attire is encouraged.
