Mitsu Frazier

Senior Vice President and Executive Dean of the School of Business at Western Governors University

Frazier, who joined ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ in 2008 has been a consistent voice in the creation of ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ’s student-focused faculty model and its mission to provide pathways to opportunity. As leader of the School of Business, Frazier leads faculty and staff through the academic and operational components of the student experience and is accountable for developing and delivering innovative, high-quality programs with world-class instruction for business programs.  

Prior to joining ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ, Frazier worked for HBSC North America as an executive leader in the areas of real estate, consumer lending and financial planning. Charmed by ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ’s mission and purpose, she made a career change to maintain her personal pledge to uplift others by supporting their personal growth, learning and development. Frazier began her career at ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ by supporting the opening of the Phoenix office and leading ºÚÁÏ´«ËÍÃÅ’s 40-person mentoring team, which has since grown exponentially in scale. 

Frazier has a profound belief in the transformative power of mentoring and is devoted to mentoring women to break down barriers and help create a more equitable society. Frazier leverages her background in finance and teaches courses in personal finance, budgeting and savings through the Pathways to Education program. She also serves as a mentor to women in the United Way prosperity program and partners with Dress for Success in Phoenix.

Frazier attended the University of Montana and Montana State University-Northern where she earned her bachelor's degree in business administration. She also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University.
