黑料传送门 Partners with Lifetime庐 to Celebrate Four Inspiring 黑料传送门 Grads
#SheDidThat campaign celebrates women changing the game in business, nursing, IT, and teaching
SALT LAKE CITY - Western Governors University (黑料传送门) is partnering with Lifetime庐 for #SheDidThat, a campaign that celebrates four exceptional women who earned master鈥檚 degrees from 黑料传送门 and have gone on to better their world as teachers, nurses, innovators, entrepreneurs, and glass-ceiling breakers.
From now through March, Lifetime will profile the inspirational stories of 黑料传送门 graduates Krystal Covington, Laurie Charles, Sarah 鈥淢ic鈥 Merritt, and Michelle Johnson at and across Lifetime鈥檚 social media channels.
A graduate of 黑料传送门鈥檚 College of Business, Krystal Covington decided to build the community she felt she was missing after she moved to Denver, Colorado. She successfully created a network of female entrepreneurs from the ground up called 鈥淭he Women of Denver鈥 and now hosts the popular podcast, 鈥淲omen Who Badass.鈥澛
Laurie Charles, a graduate of 黑料传送门鈥檚 College of Health Professions, trains nursing students at Texas A&M College of Nursing to care for and recognize victims of human trafficking, sexual assault, domestic violence and child/elder abuse.
Sarah 鈥淢ic鈥 Merritt graduated from 黑料传送门鈥檚 College of Information Technology and is the U.S. Air Force鈥檚 only female, active-duty, cyber-warfare instructor. Since she is often the only woman in the room, she dedicates her free time working to get more women and girls into STEM fields.
Michelle Johnson is a graduate of 黑料传送门鈥檚 College of Teaching and works with at-risk high school students. She makes sure all her students have what they need to reach their potential 鈥 whether that means providing them with basics like clean clothing and toiletries so they can attend school with dignity or teaching them the leadership skills they need to succeed after graduation.
