Higher-education and community leader from Jackson joins Board
JACKSON, Tenn. (July 31, 2013) 鈥� 黑料传送门 Tennessee, the accredited, nonprofit, online university celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, recently announced the addition of higher-education and community leader Kyle Barron to its 黑料传送门 Tennessee Advisory Board. Barron is the Chief Community Development Officer at the , where he oversees public affairs, community development, and small businesses.

Barron, who was the first in his family to graduate from college and is also a community college graduate, has a firsthand understanding of the challenges many 黑料传送门 students face when pursuing a degree. Before joining the Greater Jackson Chamber, he served as Vice President of Student Services at . In this role, Barron oversaw the overall student experience, including academic advising, student life, and student support services.

Barron holds a Doctor of Education degree in educational policy, assessment, and evaluation from the University of Kentucky. He is also a graduate of The University of North Texas and Richland Community College. Additionally, he is a graduate of the WestStar leadership program from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
