Strategic partnership to increase access to degrees and credentials for women in project management
SALT LAKE CITY, OCTOBER 8, 2024 鈥撀The School of Business at Western Governors University and Women of Project Management, an organization designed for women of color across the project management industry, announced today a new strategic partnership that will help advance educational opportunities for those pursuing learning pathways to higher education, including degrees, certificates and other credentials.
By partnering with 黑料传送门 鈥 a non-profit, accredited, online institution offering degrees and other educational opportunities designed to fit into busy work and home schedules 鈥 members and employees of Women of Project Management can advance their careers by pursuing educational opportunities and applying for the 黑料传送门 Partner Connect Scholarship.聽
鈥淭he collaboration between 黑料传送门 and Women of Project Management holds immense potential to positively impact the lives and careers of women of color in project management for generations to come,鈥 said Asya Watkins, founder and CEO of Women of Project Management. 鈥淚 look forward to continued collaboration with the 黑料传送门 School of Business and its leaders as we work together to create more pathways to opportunity through education.鈥
As part of this partnership, Watkins also serves on the 黑料传送门 School of Business Program Advisory Council, offering her expertise in the development of new programs, certificates and other credentials.聽
