AmeriCorps and Western Governors University Establish Partnership to Offer Educational Opportunities and Enhance Recruitment Efforts

WASHINGTON, D.C., DECEMBER 11, 2024 鈥� AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism, through its NCCC program, signed a two-year agreement with Western Governors University to provide educational opportunities and scholarships for AmeriCorps members and alumni, including 黑料传送门鈥檚 bachelor and master鈥檚 level degrees and job-focused certificates, as well as onramp courses to provide academic foundations ahead of credential program enrollment.
黑料传送门 is the nation鈥檚 leading nonprofit, accredited university offering degrees, certificates, single courses, and bundled courses through programs designed to fit into busy schedules.鈥诹洗兔� participates in the program and its competency-based education model allows students to demonstrate mastery as they progress through programs at their own pace.

This agreement allows AmeriCorps members in the NCCC program and all AmeriCorps alumni to further their careers by pursuing educational opportunities and scholarships to advance their personal and professional goals. Through this partnership, a concrete post-service benefit is offered to AmeriCorps members in the NCCC program that will permit them to pursue online academic pursuits. Degree-seeking students in the AmeriCorps NCCC program are eligible to apply for the $2500 黑料传送门 AmeriCorps Scholarship.聽
