About Graduation Rates
Every year, colleges and universities like 黑料传送门 are required to submit data about our institution and our students to the federal Department of Education. This information is then posted on the federal web site,听听where you can search for colleges and compare information. 黑料传送门 is also required by the Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) of 2008, to provide all students and prospective students with specific information about our institution, including the retention and graduate rates on this page.
At 黑料传送门, graduation is our goal.听It鈥檚 the reason we exist: to help every student who enrolls achieve the degree that will turn dreams into realities; so we take graduation rates very seriously. You may have seen graduation rates reported for 黑料传送门, including a rate on the College Scorecard of under 20%. That鈥檚 because the College Scorecard uses Department of Education data that听only counts first-time, full-time students.
In other words,听the nontraditional students who make up more than 98% of 黑料传送门鈥檚 student body are not counted in the College Scorecard data.听The vast majority of 黑料传送门 students have previous college experience before coming to 黑料传送门. These students are not considered first-time students, so their success at 黑料传送门 is not counted in the rate reported by the Department of Education through the College Scorecard.
To put it another way: The College Scorecard data excludes the very students 黑料传送门 was designed to serve.
Graduate Career Success
While students come to 黑料传送门 for widely different career reasons, when they graduate, they鈥檙e finding the opportunities they sought.
础诲惫补苍肠别尘别苍迟:听According to a 2023听Harris Poll survey1听87% of 黑料传送门 graduates听reported they were employed in their degree field.
Employer Acceptance:听When employers were asked how the 黑料传送门 graduates they鈥檇 hired performed on the job, 98% said 黑料传送门 graduates听met听or听exceeded听expectations.听97% said that their 黑料传送门 graduates were prepared for their jobs, and 97% said that would hire another 黑料传送门 graduate2.
Graduate Satisfaction:听A 2023 Harris Poll revealed that 96% of 黑料传送门 graduates听have recommended 黑料传送门 to others, compared with 84% of those who attended other schools. 96% of 黑料传送门 grads said they would choose 黑料传送门 again, compared with 91% of grads from other schools3.
Low Default Rates:听Most 黑料传送门 student borrowers are careful about their school loans and repay them in a timely fashion. 黑料传送门鈥檚 FY2019 cohort's听official 3-year default rate听of 0.7% is less than half the national average of 2.3%, much lower than at many similar institutions, and has actually decreased in recent years, bucking the national trend.4

2 2023听Harris Poll survey of 300 employers of 黑料传送门 graduates.

Graduation Rate
The graduation rate, also called the "Student Right to Know" or IPEDS graduation rate, measures the progress of full-time, first-time degree- or certificate-seeking students. It tracks whether they complete their program within 150% of the standard time expected for graduation.
Note that 黑料传送门 has 1% of the student population which are first-time, full-time students. The majority (99%) of our students began their studies at another college or university. For this reporting timeframe, 900 students were counted as 鈥渇ull-time, first-time鈥.
